Unity Culture & Crew

Culture is a priority!

We view culture as our “DNA” of the organization, encompassing shared beliefs, norms and values that shape the way we think, behave and interact with clients, personnel and/or other stakeholders. Our culture influences everything from our decision-making processes, personnel engagement, service delivery, etc., to the overall atmosphere and performance. Our culture is represented by the following:
  • Open Communication – Unity emphasizes transparency, honesty, and active listening. We value all personnel, client, and/or other stakeholder thoughts/opinions and welcome feedback for continuous quality improvement. Unity encourages open discussions, no matter how difficult they may be, fostering trust and collaboration.
  • Social Responsibility – Social Responsibility is not just encouraged but expected at Unity. We aim to be responsible stewards of resources and each other, showing responsibility and care for each other as personnel, clients, stakeholders and the community. Personnel are collectively accountable for decision-making and delivering services that prioritize the well-being of all involved (personnel, clients, other stakeholders and the community).
  • Growth & Change – Unity strives to create opportunities that promote growth and change, constantly adapting to new challenges and evolving circumstances. Innovation and creativity are woven into the fabric of our culture, empowering personnel to step outside of their comfort zones to meet the needs of clients, stakeholders and the community. Change is not feared but seen as a catalyst for progress, driving us forward and shaping our collective future.
  • Safety & Security – Unity is committed to creating a safe and secure environment where personnel, clients, and/or other stakeholders feel valued, respected, represented and supported. We embrace and celebrate the diversity of each individual’s unique strengths, interests, abilities and differences. Clear roles, responsibilities, and reliable and consistent service delivery create a sense of security and trust.
  • Integrity – Unity holds itself to the highest standards of integrity for personnel, clients, and/or other stakeholders. This is evident through our adherence to laws, ethics, policies, and procedures, ensuring access to care, respecting client rights and responsibilities and our unwavering dedication to continuous quality improvement.
