At Unity, it is important for continuous quality improvement. This is achieved through a variety of initiatives both internally and externally. For more information about these initiatives, you may click the links below.
Cultural Competency
Unity looks to demonstrate cultural competency, diversity, and inclusion throughout their services among their personnel, clients served, and other stakeholders. Unity respects the uniqueness, noteworthy progress, inquiry, the experiences of today and tomorrow and the “you” that their clients, personnel, and stakeholders bring. In order to stay culturally competent, Unity strives to determine what is needed from their clients, personnel, and community through surveys, open conversations, observations, and other relevant factors. Doing this will allow us to know what work is being done that is successful and which will need to be reviewed and updated. Current cultural competency initiatives can be found in our cultural competency plan.

Accessibility
Unity strives to provide a safe environment for clients, personnel, and stakeholders while acknowledging and eliminating any barriers to accessibility. Unity understands that even with trying to be accessible there may be ways to be more accessible to those around us if we are open to hearing how. Listening to those around us such as personnel, clients, other stakeholders, and the community is the first way to start. Through open discussions and meetings, community forums, surveys, and other means we can learn how to better become accessible. Accessibility initiatives can be found in our annual Accessibility Plan. (Please note that some information may not be included in the public version of the accessibility plan.)
