Hello! I'm Alicia Boreman, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor holding a Supervisory Endorsement (LPCC-S) from the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist Board. I earned my Masters of Arts in Counseling from Heidelberg University and have continually evolved as a counselor since.
My extensive background encompasses diverse experiences, ranging from working with young children to older adults in various settings, including in-home, office-based, and facility-based environments. Specializing in evidence-based trauma treatment, I am dedicated to supporting individuals who have undergone traumatic events as they strive to become their best selves.
In both group and individual settings, my approach centers on viewing individuals holistically, fostering awareness of inner conflicts, personal responsibility, and the recognition of success and accomplishments. I anchor the counseling process in the present, acknowledging the impact of past and future events on an individual's current functioning. Engaging with me means embracing transparency, personal accountability, assigned tasks, and active participation on your journey toward achieving treatment goals. The counseling process can be emotionally challenging, and I am here to provide unwavering support throughout your personal growth. Beyond counseling, my interests include reading, listening to music, and spending quality time with family and friends. I look forward to accompanying you on your path to healing and self-discovery!
